János Rovnyai

CEO & Founder

János Rovnyai has more than fifteen years of entrepreneurial experience in the field of technologies. He is the founder of Dolphio Technologies and several other successful start-ups. Directs the business as an operational manager, receives 150 e-mails a day on average. His motto is efficiency. The ambition, precision, working ability and perseverance of him have shaped the corporate group to its present value – a successful enterprise in Hungary, Europe and beyond.

Zsolt Robotka

CEO & Founder

Zsolt Robotka is a mathematician who is involved as an operational manager in the group since the foundation of Dolphio Technologies. Currently he directs the independent SignAll Technologies, which started as a spin-off project of the Dolphio Technologies and now it is one of the most successful start-ups in Hungary. The development of the SignAll Technologies is based on machine vision and artificial intelligence and it is the first solution that enables deaf people to translate sign language in real time.

OUR ACHIEVEMENTS

Thanks to its dynamic development and expansion, Dolphio Technologies as the only company from Hungary, has been among the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central and Eastern Europe on the list of Deloitte for three consecutive years. We are proud that our results are acknowledged both domestically and internationally.

2019

2018

We present our machine vision-based development, the SignAll at CES, Las Vegas. In the spring the first pilot is being deployed in Washington at theGallaudet University. In addition to the European and Middle Eastern markets, now we are active in the United States and Australia. Gömböc Webshop is available in 6 languages and has become an internationally successful webshop. Our new Shopify-based webshop, Irodaiszék.Shop opens its showroom.

2017

We start our equity based community fund project, the Tőkeportál, which wins a special prize at the FinTech Show. The KHF, our public procurement monitoring service is avaiable in 7 european countries. Thanks to our machine vision development, our product line is expanded with new products (Swappear, Brandetect). Our software developer team updates our auction notifier service and introduce the Auction Query

2016

Sign All Technologies Ltd. is established and gets €1.5 million from an international consortium for improving its technology that is able to translate American Sign Language in real time. We participate in the M-Enabling Summit in Washington, in the NAD (National Association of the Deaf) Conference and in TechChrunchon in San Francisco with our SignAll sign language recognizing system. Budavar Council deploys the SpotNZoom system of the 12 years old Dolphio Technologies successfully. Later, the product wins the innovation award…

2015

The holding is being built: the Swappear and Crawling Technologies spin-off businesses are created after some successful capital raising. The first one develops a revolutionary advertisement tool for video sharing sites, to place visual adverts into videos automatically. The second one develops technology with high added value that enables the creation of automatic web-crawling and web-scraping services. We install the first SpotNzoom intelligent security camera system in Budapest. We win the LT-Innovate Award in Brussels, which is the most prestigious language technology prize.

2014

Dolphio Technologies’s 10th birthday. Our SignAll sign language recognition project reaches the final in the Global Impact 2014 competition of Singularity University CEE established by NASA and Google. We exhibit at CeBIT, Hannover, Germany. We open a subsidiary in Bulgaria. The company’s playroom is opened.

2013

17 tenders won, 200 e-mails every day in the mailbox of the managers. 35 000 users, monthly coffee consumption 7200 cups. Number of partners is 35. Deloitte Technology Fast TOP 50: the only Hungarian company among the fastest growing companies of Central Europe for the third consecutive year.

2012

Founding of our first foreign subsidiary, in Greece. We operate 5 online services, 2 mobile tenders, win 6 tenders. A new Deloitte Technology Fast 50 success. Number of interns and trainees is 37.

2011

First inclusion in the Deloitte Technology Fast TOP 50 list. 15 000 users, 3600 cups of coffee per month. The optical visitor counting system of the company is marketed. The number of permanent partners is growing to 22

2010

International appearances: CEBIT, GITEX, Innovact, EVC, Oslo. 4 winning tenders. The managers process 100 incoming e-mails every day. Number of trainees is 31
